Welcome to our lovely health center
We are the small health center with high competence and dedicated staff.
We aim to achieve 1/1000 and are therefore looking for a district physician who values patient continuity as much as we do.
The health center is located by Lake Trekanten in Gröndal, close to tram, subway, and bus connections at Liljeholmen. The health center is a county-operated unit characterized by a good atmosphere. Gröndal Health Center has about 40 employees and currently has nearly 11,800 registered patients. The medical team consists of nine specialists and five resident doctors. We also have interns and experienced nurses/community nurses, as well as a well-functioning psychosocial team that can support you in your daily work.
As a doctor with us, you will have time set aside every day for both urgent and planned visits. You will participate in regular medical meetings, and we place great value on opportunities for education and working with freedom under responsibility. We are also looking for someone with a particular interest in home care and who is willing to work with this for about 50% of the time.
Qualifications:
We are looking for you who are a specialist in general medicine with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare.

Planning and coordination are familiar concepts for you, and you are comfortable working independently and making your own decisions. Qualities that are beneficial for this position include being attentive, flexible, and innovative.
A good and respectful approach to patients, relatives, and colleagues, as well as the ability to share knowledge and information, is of utmost importance. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that you fit into the workgroup.

For patient-related work within the Stockholm County healthcare area:
- background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-certified staff with patient contact.
